Open Vineyards Weekend – Open 11 am to 4pm. Saturday 24, Sunday 25 & Monday 26 January

Founded by Theo Truyts and Clare Trythall, Trait Wines is a modern take on the traditional. Having salvaged a extraordinary old vineyard in 2019, theirs is a story of perseverance, fortitude and family – and of course stunning wine.

Usually open by appointment only, they’re opening their doors over the Open Vineyards weekend giving a glimpse into their careful custodianship and hands on-approach.

Trait Wines is located on Carters Road just north of Margaret River township. Please take note of these directions once you see the white fence with “W&G Lilleyman” painted on it….

Directions

• Drive up the driveway to the gate, next to the house. Go through the gate but please close it behind you. After going through the gate, immediately turn right and follow the track to the end of the paddock. Then, turn right through an open gate and immediately left.

• The vineyard is straight ahead of you, with the gate into the vineyard on your left. Drive through the gate and follow signs to the parking area.
