DESCRIPTION:Inclusive of Garden pick and tour\, processing\, cooking\, preserving and eating! \nJoin Laura and Francesco our in house gardener and chef for a hands-on day all about making traditional Italian passata from scratch. \nIn this intimate workshop (limited to 15 participants)\, you’ll learn every step of the passata-making process — from preparing the tomatoes to bottling your finished sauce and of course.. sitting down to an Italian feast of Pizza\, Pasta and side serves for a long lunch. \nHere’s what you’ll do: \n\nGarden Tour and harvest Tomatoes and Basil\nWash\, cut and core the tomatoes and process them using traditional techniques\nFill bottles with your freshly made passata and learn techniques for preserving\n\nEach participant will get a hands-on experience with every stage and will create their own batch of passata to take home. (Note: Bottles will need to be boiled for 1-2 hours.
