Flametree Cellar Door and Winery is located on the picturesque shores of Geographe Bay, at the gateway to one of the world’s great wine producing regions – the Margaret River Wine Region. Established in 2007 by the Towner family, Flametree Wines was created with passion for wine and a vision to become a world recognised winery producing exceptional quality wines with a laid-back style and elegance.
By winning Australia’s most well-known and respected wine accolade, the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy, with their first ever red wine, Flametree Wines has firmly established themselves in the upper echelon of Margaret River wine producers. Proving that this accolade was not a coincidence and that Flametree was actually deserving of the prestigious award, the next vintage was also a finalist in the following year’s show. This unprecedented success has since continued, with many critic reviews and awards.
Flowstone is a tiny wine producer committed to making handcrafted wines of uncompromising quality, style, verve, and individuality.
The vineyard is in Forest Grove, immediately adjacent to the Boranup National Park, home to most of the regions natural caves. Our vineyard shares the same basement rock, and underground water flows as these ancient cave systems.

Fraser Gallop Estate is a single estate producer with a focus on Margaret River’s three synonymous wines – Cabernet, Chardonnay and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends. All fruit is hand-picked; all vines are cane pruned; all wines are treated with the utmost care – absolutely no compromise in any aspect from the vineyard to the bottle.

Nestled in the Cowaramup Brook valley and the lee of the Leeuwin Ridge, Grace Farm is a small family owned vineyard using organic principles to produce premium hand-crafted wines. The wines produced are a true representation of the quality of the proposed Wilyabrup subregion of Margaret River.
In 1975 following a severe downturn in beef prices, Graham and Merilyn Hutton decided to diversify their Wilyabrup beef farm by planting a 4.5ha vineyard. Self-taught winemakers, they made the region’s first fortified wines and opened Margaret River’s first Cellar Door in 1978. Gralyn Estate is well known for their wide range of wine styles that includes sweet, dry and fortified wines. The Hutton’s have always focused on Cellar Door sales. Open daily 10.30am-4.30pm.
The range of sweet wines includes very popular chilled sweet reds – Racy Red and Late Harvest Cabernet, as well as Late Harvest White. The Unoaked Cabernet Merlot is medium dry and may be served chilled. The fortified range of wines include Chocolate, Coffee, Vintage and Tawny ‘ports’ as well as a range of Muscats. The 20 year old Artizan Rare Muscat has won 9 Trophies. All Gralyn wines are available for tasting free of charge.
Hamelin Bay Wines is owned and operated by the Drake-Brockman family. The cellar door overlooks a beautiful valley and vineyard vista and is a great place to relax over a glass of wine and light lunch. Wine tasting is available from 10am-4.45pm and lunch is served between 12pm-3pm (bookings recommended). Hamelin Bay’s show record is outstanding and it is a rare time indeed that there isn’t a gold medal winning wine on offer. Wines, at normal bottle shop prices, are available by the glass or bottle with meals. Some great specials are available on some very recently superseded vintages.
Happs is a family owned enterprise that has been growing grapes and making wine since 1978. Some thirty eight grape varieties are grown and a very wide variety of styles produced in their Dunsborough winery. They perform the entire process from plant to bottle.
Harmans Estate is a cooperative winery based in the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region. Specialising in distinctive single vineyard wines under the Harmans Label.
Hay Shed Hill is a classic old vineyard in the heart of the Willyabrup Valley – the premier proposed sub-region of Margaret River where the region’s first vines were planted and the great tradition of Margaret River wine began.
Planted in 1973 with the varieties that put Margaret River on the wine map – Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc – Hay Shed Hill produces world-class wines that reflect the place of their origin; wines of depth and flavour true to region and true to the vineyard.
The Higher Plane property is located in the Forest Grove locality of the Margaret River wine region, 15km south of the Margaret River. It was established in 1997 and has ideal exposure and gravelly duplex soils. The varieties planted were carefully selected clones and closely-planted to produce low yields and increase fruit intensity. Management of the vineyards is sympathetic to preserving the pristine nature of this unspoilt environment by utilising natural practices wherever possible.
The name House of Cards was inspired by the gamble that winemakers and growers take every vintage – you have to play the hand that you are dealt.
All fruit used to make House of Cards wine comes from their single vineyard situated on iconic Caves Road at the Northern end of the Margaret River Wine Region in Western Australia. As the fruit comes from only one origin you can taste the unique terroir of the House of Cards Vineyard. Each vintage their wines showcase the hand that was dealt from Mother Nature.

Micro-winery Hutton Wines was established in 2006 by architect Michael Hutton, the eldest son of first generation Margaret River grape growers and wine producers.
Hutton Wines is dedicated to crafting elegant and finely structured long-lived wines in limited quantities. Fruit of the highest quality is sourced entirely from the acclaimed proposed sub-region of Wilyabrup to produce the ‘Triptych Series’.
The ‘Triptych Series’ includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Semillon: classic varieties representative of the Margaret River wine region.
Ibizan Wines is a boutique small producer; together with their winemaker Bruce Dukes they produce small batches of wines which truly reflect the unique terroir of their hidden piece of paradise. Respecting the soil which was first worked by the group settlers in 1927 they “let their fruit do the talking” and create wine with intense flavours, natural acidity and elegance.
Established in 1985, and centrally located within the Margaret River Wine Region. Island Brook Estate is home to quality boutique wine, peaceful self-contained chalets, and the Haywood family. Perhaps best known by it’s iconic old red truck at the front gates, this beautiful estate offers 30 year old, dry grown vines, natural jarrah forest, all surrounding the meandering Island Brook.
Our vineyard of nine hectares was established in 1996. After having sold grapes for 22 years, we have created our own label, Jilyara. Jilyara was the original name of the property, and derives from Djilyaro, which means bees in the local Noongar language. Our family of six; Craig, Maria, Lani, Felix, Joey and Noah live, work and play on our property in Wilyabrup. We produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Sauvignon Blanc.
Juniper Estate is one of the original pioneering Margaret River vineyards and was planted in 1973 when it was known as Wright’s. The present vineyard block was created through subdivision by the well-known Western Australian artist family, the Junipers, after whom it is now named. It is dry-grown (unirrigated) and sustainably farmed following organic principles. Juniper, Margaret River was established with the intention of producing wines which rank among the best to come from Wilyabrup.
KarriBindi is a family owned and operated vineyard and wine producer located in Karridale, a premium grape growing area in the south of the Margaret River Wine Region. The southern location and temperate maritime climate provides ideal growing conditions to produce premium quality grapes from which they craft limited quantities of estate grown fine wines.
Over the past 16 years the Kelly family have developed a Caves Road, Margaret River vineyard and olive grove, and has now decided it is time to release their own label, Della Fay. Named in honour of the matriarch of the Kelly family, the range of wines includes Italian varietals Nebbiolo andVvermentino in addition to traditional varietals Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay. Shiraz fruit sourced from the Geographe region is part of the selection too.
Knee Deep has established itself as a ‘not to be missed’ destination in the Margaret River Wine Region. The award winning restaurant and cellar door, located in Wilyabrup, is open seven days. Winemakers Bruce Dukes and previously Bob Cartwright, have created many award winning wines for Knee Deep which is rated 5 star by James Halliday. The Knee Deep name reflects the passionate commitment to producing premium wines and creating contemporary Australian cuisine to give a memorable experience. It also reflects the laid back Margaret River state of mind in which visitors can immerse themselves when visiting the beautiful vineyard setting.
Larry Cherubino Wines was founded in 2005 by Larry and Edwina Cherubino with the release of one wine – a single vineyard Shiraz from Frankland River. Since then the portfolio has grown into five ranges of wine: Ad Hoc; The Yard; Pedestal; Laissez Faire and the premium range, Cherubino.
Leeuwin Estate, was Margaret River’s fifth founding winery. Family owned and operated, Leeuwin has earned an international reputation for producing wines ranking alongside the world’s finest, has received much international acclaim and exports to 30 markets. Leeuwin has also been a pioneer in the business of wine tourism featuring an award winning restaurant, private boardroom and airstrip. The Estate’s Art Gallery houses the collection of contemporary Australian artworks commissioned to appear on Leeuwin’s “Art Series” wines and each summer spectacular alfresco concerts are staged on the winery lawns.
Lentedal Vineyard is a family run business specialising in hand crafted, high end boutique wines.
The property is located in the warmer, Carbunup proposed sub-region of Margaret River. A ridge of gneiss and granite runs north to south for the length of the peninsula and is responsible for the area’s unique ‘terroir’. Lentedal is rich in red laterite soil, with high concentrations of aluminium and iron. The property is located behind a ridge that moderates the coastal breezes during the ripening season.
Lentedal Vineyard specialises in the growing of: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, Pinot Gris, Shiraz and Muscat.
Lenton Brae was established in the proposed Wilyabrup sub region in1982 by Bruce and Jeanette Tomlinson. Early vintages received critical acclaim including awards for Best West Australian wine and Best Margaret River red wine and at the 1990 SGIO WA Winemaker awards. Lenton Brae also championed an exclusive blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc with their first ‘SSB’ released in 1987. Their son Edward graduated in Oenology from Roseworthy Agricultural College in 1992 and returned to Lenton Brae in 1995 after vintages in South Africa, California and New Zealand. Vintages in Spain, Bordeaux and Italy since then have added international perspective to his 20 vintages at Lenton Brae.

With over 20 years industry experience and a passion for winegrape growing Eloise Jarvis delivers exceptional services; providing clear focus and vision from grape to bottle. A strong background in horticulture, with a degree in Horticultral Science (Hons) (UWA), a Postgraduate Diploma in Oenolgy (Adelaide University) and lecturing for 8 years in Curtin University’s Oenology and Viticulture degree, Eloise believes wines that inspire people are sourced from grapevines that are balanced and in harmony with their environment, producing vibrant and unique expressions of their place of origin.

The Hohnen and McHenry families have a long history of grape growing and winemaking in the Margaret River region and joined forces in 2004 with the aim of producing a range of wines which truly reflect outstanding varietal and vineyard integrity, with balance, harmony and great character.
Miles from Nowhere is one of two wineries owned by Franklin and Heather Tate, a family name which has been part of the WA wine industry since 1972. The name comes from the journey Franklin’s ancestors made from Eastern Europe over 100 years ago to Australia who upon their arrival felt they had traveled “….miles from nowhere”. The winery produces a two tiered range, the ‘Estate’ series and a premium ‘Best Blocks’ range.
Mongrel Creek is a small family owned and run vineyard on the outskirts of Dunsborough in the northern part of the Margaret River wine region. Their main focus is on producing quality wine at an affordable price.
