Established in 1985, Abbey Vale Vineyard and Cellar Door is located on Wildwood Road in the heart of the Yallingup Hills.
Relaunched in February 2016, Abbey Vale Wines is the side project of Julian Langworthy (Winemaker), John Fogarty (Viticulturalist) and Mark Fogarty (Finance). Our new Abbey Vale Wines showcase what we feel is best about the area and best about this amazing site. With a new series of wines in the works, watch this space for an exciting new label with a focus on quirky, small batch wines with a high degree of smashability.
After Hours Wine is located in the Carbanup/North Jindong area of the pristine Margaret River wine region. Their wines are hand crafted using quality fruit sourced from their own vineyards. After Hours Wine believes in a hands on approach from the vineyard to the bottle. All of the After Hours wines are produced, processed and bottled onsite. This allows them to carefully select only the best parcels of fruit to produce premium award winning wines.
Amato Vino are small-batch artisan winemakers based in Margaret River, making lo-fi, minimal intervention wines.
Established in 2003 by owner/winemaker Brad Wehr, the labels and wine styles have continued to grow, covering classic Margaret River varietals through to some eclectic, unconventional grape varieties and winemaking methods.
The winery is located a few minutes south-west of the Margaret River township, and although not open to the general public, tasting by appointment can be arranged. Three labels produced are Amato Vino (micro-batch alternative varieites and experimental batches), Mantra (classic Margaret River), and Brad (the original pop-art retro label).

Aravina Estate, established in 2010 by Perth businessman Steve Tobin is located in the northern corner of the premium wine-growing region of Margaret River in Western Australia – close to the town of Dunsborough and the famed surf at Yallingup. The property was established in 1986 under the original name – Amberley Estate.
Nestled amongst the picturesque setting of expansive vineyards across rolling hills, natural bushland and manicured gardens, Aravina Estate would surely be one of Margaret River’s finest wine properties in the region.

The family owned boutique Bare Rooted vineyard was established in 1996 in the glorious Rosa Brook valley 6 km from Margaret River. Planted exclusively from nursery reared ‘bare rooted’ vine cutting (from which they adopted their name) the vines today are strong, lush and of exceptional quality translating into exceptional Sauvignon Blanc fruit that gives Margaret River its legendary reputation.

A small vineyard selected for soils and climate, growing world class grapes and making world class wines. Recognising the potential to have Merlot and Cabernet Franc excel in a special site, the vineyard was planted in 2001 and since that date has won awards and accolades from the resultant wines. Other varieties include Shiraz, Marsanne, Viognier, Teroldego and in the near future Chardonnay. Fresh, exciting, delicious – beauty and balance – hallmarks of our wine.
To showcase the high quality of fruit grown on this property, they continue to provide A-grade grapes that find their way into premium label wines, and now produce estate grown, single vineyard wine under the Brash Vineyard label. Owned and managed by Chris and Anne Carter (who live and work on the property), the McGuinness and Nitert families, it was initially established and planted in 2000. Previously operated under the name of Woodside Valley Estate (owned by the Carter; McGuiness, Nitert and Woods families).
Located along Caves Road, in the heart of the premium wine region of Margaret River, Brookland Valley is a truly spectacular estate. The beautiful Wilyabrup Brook provides a breathtaking backdrop to the property as it ambles its way through the valley, giving life to vines alongside native flora and fauna. The picturesque property, established in 1983, spans 52 hectares and consists of an estate vineyard planted with key Margaret River varieties of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot. A cellar door and restaurant complement the scenic location.
Burnside Organic Farm is a certified organic and biodynamic farm. The vines are dry grown, hand tended and hand picked. All wines are made in the farm’s winery from fruit grown on site. The Zinfandel and Vermentino varieties are wild fermented and basket pressed. No filtering or fining takes place and minimal sulphur is added at bottling. We use geese to weed, fertilise and control insects and pests naturally in the vineyard.
Calneggia Family Vineyards (CFV) has extensive vineyard holdings in the Margaret River wine region and produces a number of wines including Rosabrook, Bramble Lane, Bunkers and Brian Fletcher Signature Wines.
Cape Grace Wines was planted in 1996 by Robert and Karen Karri-Davies whose family have been part of the south west since 1875. Cape Grace is located on the headwaters of the Wilyabrup Valley in a natural bush setting. The single vineyard wines are limited in production, the reds are hand plunged and basket pressed. Wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz, Cabernet Shiraz, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and a dessert wine.

Established in 1998, Cape Landing is an independent vineyard producing premium wines carefully crafted from fruit harvested annually in our own privately-owned vineyard in the Margaret River Wine region of Western Australia. Fruit from Cape Landing has traditionally featured in many award-winning wines produced by regional wine makers. 2018 will see Cape Landing offer its own single vineyard Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon for the first time.
One of the first vineyards established in the region in 1970 there are now over 168 hectares under vine. Cape Mentelle pioneered many varietals and blends and is considered a benchmark producer of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc Semillon.

When Gianfranco and Francesca Anderle first visited Western Australia in 2000, they immediately fell in love with the Margaret River Region. This resulted in their prompt return to Italy and the selling of their assets, which by February 2001 allowed Gianfranco and Francesca’s dream to begin taking shape with the purchase of a Wilyabrup property (75 Acres) in the heart of the Margaret River Region. They soon moved to WA with their children in August 2001, with vineyard plantings starting in 2003 through to 2005.
The vineyard is planted on the very best of classic Margaret River gravel soil, with a beautiful Northern aspect and a state of the art winery is cleverly concealed in an unassuming green shed on the property.
Established in 1999 Churchview Estate is a privately owned boutique winery 20km North of Margaret River on the Bussell Highway. The estate which is 100ha, grows 16 different varieties of vines and produces a vast array of different styles of wine, all made from estate grown fruit, offering purity and supreme quality at affordable prices. Some of these less common varieties include Zinfandel, Malbec, Viognier and Grenache. Clown Fish and Cowaramup Wines are located in the heart of the Margaret River wine region, between the township of Cowaramup and the Indian Ocean. Situated on the gentle slopes of the upper reaches of the Ellensbrook, the vineyard thrives in the maritime climate and gravely loam soils. Established in 1995 by the Reynolds family, the vineyard has developed to over 42 acres in size.
Since its inception, a strong emphasis has been adopted on implementing biodynamic and organic practices, these practices harness the natural biodiversity within the vineyard and are a true expression of the ‘terroir’ of this location. Coward and Black is a world-class small producer blessed with ancient gravelly-loam soils and a pristine maritime environment in Margaret River and hot dry summers with plentiful fresh water in the Swan Valley.
In Wilyabrup in 1966, when the late Diana and Kevin Cullen planted a trial acre of vines, the results were encouraging and led to the couple planting 18 acres of vines on their sheep and cattle farm in 1971. Cullen wines has since evolved into an estate specialising in quality wines from single vineyard sites. The Cullen restaurant overlooks the historic vineyard located in Cowaramup. The building’s unique construction from granite and timber, blends harmoniously with the surroundings and provides a relaxing place to enjoy a glass of wine, lunch or a coffee. The vineyard is Certified “A” Grade Biodynamic with the Biological Farmers Association and in keeping with the organic/biodynamic philosophy in the vineyard, all food in the restaurant is prepared using fresh, biodynamic and organic produce and is sourced from their own garden and select local producers.
Dawson Wines is located in the Yallingup proposed sub region of Margaret River, producing intense, varietal fruit for supply and for wine production. This 21ha vineyard is family owned and run, with the wine label soon to be released, specialising in classic Margaret River varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
Deep Woods Estate, established in 1987, is located on Commonage Road, Yallingup in the northern corner of the Margaret River Wine Region. The Estate is close to the town of Dunsborough and the famed Yallingup surf break. Deep Woods comprises a modern winery, vineyard and cellar door, and with its large spring-fed dam and natural bushland is surely one of Margaret River’s most scenic wineries. the 500-tonne capacity winery is manager by Chief Winemaker Julian Langworthy who joined Deep Woods in 2011. Previously, Julian was a winemaker at Knappstein in the Clare Valley, Wolf Blass in the Barossa, Wynns Coonawarra Estate and Domaine de La Baume in the Languedoc. Deep Woods Estate is a Red 5 Star Winery according to James Halliday.
Deep in the south of Margaret River stand towering karri forests resilient and proud, protecting a hidden cave they call the Devil’s Lair. Dormilona are a small batch, hand made wine producer from Margaret River Western Australia. They are all about the pursuit of creating amazing quality wines from biodynamic & organically farmed fruit with additives & very little intervention. They believe that this helps to express the vineyards character, the vintage and in return makes wines that are pure, naturally created with loads of love & attention. No finings, nor filtration & only minimal use of sulphur at bottling.
Driftwood Estate is located in the northern reaches of the Margaret River region, with first plantings in 1989. Tastings and sales of premium wines are offered from cellar door Wednesday to Monday, 10.30am to 5.00pm.
Renowned primarily for it high quality, fresh brews, Eagle Bay brewing Co also produces a range of high quality wines, sourcing fruit from vineyards on the property and other growers in the Margaret River region. Located on a third generation working farm, the brewery houses a large dining venue which also caters for weddings and events.
Evans & Tate found its home at Redbrook Vineyard in 1974, when it was planted to dry-grown Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The red eared Firetail, along with our wines, is of uncommon status and unique to the southwest of Western Australia. Fishbone is a newly established business on an existing farm on Harmans Mill Road. The property has a small vineyard which has now been improved, fenced and expanded to 6 hectares. The original planting of Cabernet and Tempranillo was done in the 1980’s and Chardonnay has now been planted. Fruit from this vineyard will be used to expand on their Margaret River award winning Joseph River Wine, winner of the 2010 Jimmy Watson award. Wine from this vineyard will be available to the Cellar Door on site.
