Coward and Black is a world-class small producer blessed with ancient gravelly-loam soils and a pristine maritime environment in Margaret River and hot dry summers with plentiful fresh water in the Swan Valley.
In Wilyabrup in 1966, when the late Diana and Kevin Cullen planted a trial acre of vines, the results were encouraging and led to the couple planting 18 acres of vines on their sheep and cattle farm in 1971. Cullen wines has since evolved into an estate specialising in quality wines from single vineyard sites. The Cullen restaurant overlooks the historic vineyard located in Cowaramup. The building’s unique construction from granite and timber, blends harmoniously with the surroundings and provides a relaxing place to enjoy a glass of wine, lunch or a coffee. The vineyard is Certified "A" Grade Biodynamic with the Biological Farmers Association and in keeping with the organic/biodynamic philosophy in the vineyard, all food in the restaurant is prepared using fresh, biodynamic and organic produce and is sourced from their own garden and select local producers.
Dawson Wines is located in the Yallingup proposed sub region of Margaret River, producing intense, varietal fruit for supply and for wine production. This 21ha vineyard is family owned and run, with the wine label soon to be released, specialising in classic Margaret River varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
Deep Woods Estate, established in 1987, is located on Commonage Road, Yallingup in the northern corner of the Margaret River Wine Region. The Estate is close to the town of Dunsborough and the famed Yallingup surf break. Deep Woods comprises a modern winery, vineyard and cellar door, and with its large spring-fed dam and natural bushland is surely one of Margaret River's most scenic wineries. the 500-tonne capacity winery is manager by Chief Winemaker Julian Langworthy who joined Deep Woods in 2011. Previously, Julian was a winemaker at Knappstein in the Clare Valley, Wolf Blass in the Barossa, Wynns Coonawarra Estate and Domaine de La Baume in the Languedoc. Fishbone is a newly established business on an existing farm on Harmans Mill Road. The property has a small vineyard which has now been improved, fenced and expanded to 6 hectares. The original planting of Cabernet and Tempranillo was done in the 1980’s and Chardonnay has now been planted. Fruit from this vineyard will be used to expand on their Margaret River award winning Joseph River Wine, winner of the 2010 Jimmy Watson award. Wine from this vineyard will be available to the Cellar Door on site.

In 1975 following a severe downturn in beef prices, Graham and Merilyn Hutton decided to diversify their Wilyabrup beef farm by planting a 4.5ha vineyard. Self-taught winemakers, they made the region's first fortified wines and opened Margaret River's first Cellar Door in 1978. Gralyn Estate is well known for their wide range of wine styles that includes sweet, dry and fortified wines. The Hutton's have always focused on Cellar Door sales. Open daily 10.30am-4.30pm.
The range of sweet wines includes very popular chilled sweet reds – Racy Red and Late Harvest Cabernet, as well as Late Harvest White. Hamelin Bay Wines is owned and operated by the Drake-Brockman family. The cellar door overlooks a beautiful valley and vineyard vista and is a great place to relax over a glass of wine and light lunch. Wine tasting is available from 10am-4.45pm and lunch is served between 12pm-3pm (bookings recommended). Hamelin Bay’s show record is outstanding and it is a rare time indeed that there isn't a gold medal winning wine on offer. Wines, at normal bottle shop prices, are available by the glass or bottle with meals. Some great specials are available on some very recently superseded vintages.

The Higher Plane property is located in the Forest Grove locality of the Margaret River wine region, 15km south of the Margaret River.
